Ambi is seeking a Design Director to shape how the company is seen and experienced. This is a hands-on role focused on design, not management, with potential for leadership growth. You'll translate ideas into clear visual systems, narratives, campaigns, and brand expressions, working with Brand, Marketing, Product, and Leadership to move from strategy to execution.

Responsibilities

• Translate brand strategy into visuals, campaigns, narratives, and customer experiences.
• Develop and evolve the company's visual identity across brand, marketing, product, communications, and content.
• Create high-quality visual assets like launch materials, presentations, campaigns, social assets, web pages, and brand content.
• Build design concepts that make technology clear and culturally relevant.
• Partner with Marketing and Product to support business goals and ensure brand consistency.
• Shape visual storytelling for key moments and establish design principles for scalable, consistent branding.

Requirements

• 8+ years in design, specializing in brand identity, visual systems, campaigns, and creative direction.
• Deep understanding of brand as a strategic business function.
• Strong strategic thinking and hands-on execution; skilled in structure and detail.
• Know how brand shapes market perception and product experience.
• Experienced in visual assets, narratives, campaigns, and communication systems.
• Adaptable to fast-paced startups with high standards.
• Strong collaboration with Brand, Marketing, Product, and Leadership.
• Experience in luxury, DTC, wellness, or tech brands preferred.

• Compensation: $150,000–$170,000 base salary + equity.
